Modular Managed Shelf based Media Converter system is a 3U chassis that accommodates up to 20 plug-in cards. The shelf is divided into three sections. The first section is Media card section, which is 10/100Base-TX to 100 Base-FX converter containing 19 Media converter plug-in cards. Element Management Card is the second section, it supports standard OAMP features. Power management is the third section it provides both AC & DC options with redundancy.
